What happens if the weather is bad?
Unfortunately, we cannot control or be held responsible for weather conditions during your hire period. We reserve the right to decide upon conditions that may lead to dangerous driving (heavy fog, thunder storms, snow or ice for the duration of your hire period), but would advise guests to be prepared for varying weather, as experiences will typically go ahead in most conditions.
Can I leave my car with you whilst we take the Morgan?
You are welcome to leave your vehicle in our visitor car park for the duration of your hire, but do so at your own risk. Morgan Motor Company will not be liable for damages that occur.
Please note that the site is locked out of hours and so access to your vehicle will be restricted.
Do you have suggested routes we can use?
On the day of your hire, you’ll be provided with an information leaflet containing details of the hood up/down procedure (Plus Four & Supersport only), breakdown cover, and two suggested routes reaching a maximum of 3 hours drive time.
We are unable to provide further, or extended routes.
Can I take my Morgan outside of the UK?
Unfortunately not. Our customers are insured to drive inside the UK only, and are unable to source their own insurance to work around this.
How many people can drive the Morgan?
You are insured for up to two drivers, within the cost of the hire. Additional drivers will be charged at £30 per driver.
What if I need to cancel?
Any hire cancelled within 28 days of the booking date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Any hires cancelled within 14 days of the date of hire will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Please note that hires can be re-scheduled, no later than 14 days prior to the date of your booking.
Can I choose the colour of my Morgan?
Unfortunately not. We have a small fleet 0f vehicles for which are allocated to bookings during the lead up to a hire date. With the possibility of vehicles requiring repairs and maintenance up until the morning of hire, we cannot guarantee that this allocation won’t change until handover.
Should I arrive early for my hire?
We advise you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your hire start time, to ensure that we have seen your licence, completed paperwork, and taken the pre-authorisation.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There is a £3000 excess payable upon damages for which we take a pre-authorisation for on the day of hire. You can reduce this excess to £1000 with a one off, non-refundable payment, the amount for which depends on how long you are hiring for (Plus Four & Super 3 only):
One Day hire – £25
Overnight hire – £35
Weekend hire – £70Your Morgan will not be released until we have taken the pre-authorisation, and so please ensure that we are able to do this.
Is there space for luggage?
Yes. There is space enough behind the driver and passenger seats for two soft, medium sized sports bags. Dimensions are 90cm from one side of the car to the other, and 25cm from the back of the car to the seats.
Please let us know if you require a luggage rack as some of our cars have them fitted. Morgan will not supply luggage, or luggage straps.
Is there flexibility on the return time?
